Privacy notice

Stinders Construction Ltd, trading as Paystar Construction (company number 11509584, registered office 172 Park Road, Peterborough, PE1 2UF) is the data controller for the personal data described here. We handle it under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

• From our website form: your name, phone number, email address, whether you are a subcontractor or a construction firm, your trade or company name, and roughly how many subcontractors you pay.
• When you work with us: the details we need for CIS payroll, such as your name, address, Unique Taxpayer Reference, National Insurance number, bank details, invoices and payment records.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and talk to you about working with us (our legitimate interest, and your consent where you give it).
• To verify you with HMRC, pay you or your subcontractors, and make CIS returns (our contract with you and our legal obligations).

Who we share it with

HMRC and other public bodies where the law requires it, the construction firms you work with, and the service providers who run our systems for us under contract. We never sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted within 12 months. Payroll and employment records are kept for as long as HMRC and employment law require, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us through the form on our website. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
